Plan Harmony

The Program for this full-day excursion: We will pick you up at the hotel in an air-conditioned bus. Keep in mind that we usually go to other hotels to look for participants for this experience. We first will ride horseback in the field, in this same ranch we will see how the cigars are twisted and you will be able to taste them, you will taste the real Dominican Mamajuana (a mixture of rum, wine, and honey aged in roots and barks of Dominican Afro-dose plants)

Then we will visit the Basilica “Virgen de La Altagracia” and the local market. We will go to the mountains and we will stop at a small family farm where they grow coffee and cocoa, and see how they make their natural products from these plants, which is their livelihood. In the end, we will go to have lunch at a place on the Anamuya river.

Lunch will be a typical Dominican meal, very delicious! You can take a refreshing bath in the river too. Then, we will do the ziplining, and later we go on a buggy tour by the countryside for getting to the river. There will always be two guides or instructors with you who will assist you in everything. With us, there will always be bottled water, soft drinks, rum, and mamajuana.

Once the excursion is over” at the ranch” we would provide a fruit bowl and something to drink to all the clients. The last stop would be returning back to the hotel through our mountainous beautiful landscaped roads. Included with this package is our plate of the day which consists of a typical “homestyle” Dominican meal. Options will vary from white rice, beans, peas, fried chicken, pot roast, smoked pork chops, and green salad. All food is made in our wood oven kitchen with love.
