Day 1: Temple of Heaven, Lama Temple, Tian'anmen Square and Forbidden City (L)
Stop At: Temple of Heaven, Tiantan Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100050 China
Your private guide and driver will pick you up at 8:30am in your hotel lobby. Visit the Temple of Heaven (built in 1420), the largest building for religious worship in China. Walk along the area and besides learning the history from your tour guide, you will also see many locals play Taichi, sign songs, or dance here. It's now a very popular place particularly for Beijing's seniors. If you like, you are very welcome to join them.

Stop At: Lama Temple (Yonghegong), No.12 Yonghegong Street, Beixinqiao, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100007 China
Then you will visit the largest lamasery in Beijing where two famous Qing emperors came from, Lama Temple. It was built in 1694 during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) as the residence of the Emperor Yongzheng (the third emperor of the Qing Dynasty) before he ascended the throne. In the year 1744, the residence was completely converted into a lamasery.

After enjoy an authentic Chinese lunch in a nice local restaurant, you will visit the famous iconic sights: Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City (named Imperial Palace or Palace Museum). It will be less crowded in the afternoon.
First wander around at Tiananmen Square accompanied by your guide. It is 880 metres from south to north and 500 meters from east to west, a large city square in the center of Beijing, China.

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
Followed by the Forbidden City, located in the centre of Beijing, nearby Tiananmen Square. It is the best preserved imperial palace in China and the largest palace with 9,999.5 rooms, formerly the Chinese imperial palace for the Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty (close on Monday).
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 2: Great Wall of China (Mutianyu or Huanghuacheng), Summer Palace (L)
Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China
Head up to the Great Wall in the morning (1.5-hour driving time), and enjoy the beautiful scenery on the Wall for 2 to 3 hours. You can either choose taking a cable car up and cable car down or chair lift up, toboggan down.Taking a toboggan ride back down is exciting and a lot of fun.

Stop At: Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), No.19 Xinjian Gongmen Road, Haidian District, Beijing 100080 China
After enjoying a tasty lunch in a local restaurant, you will visit the Summer Palace, one of the summer retreats for emperors in the past. You can relax here and stroll around the ancient pavilions, mansions, temples, bridges, and the beautiful Kunming lake. Then, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
