A luxurious three-course dinner served during concert breaks is a one of the key ingredients of the Jazz Dinner in Mánes. The menu prepared by the chef of the Art Restaurant Mánes, Jaroslav Zahálka, is inspired by the Prague cuisine of the 1930s.
Jazz concert
Jazz concerts were held regularly in Mánes until the beginning of World War II. A dinner with jazz follows this tradition and revives it. Only the best Prague jazzmen will perform for you. The authentic atmosphere of the 1930s completes the piano instrument that was once played at the venue by the famous Czech jazz pianist, conductor and composer Jaroslav Ježek.
Historic hall in Mánes
Immerse yourself and go back to the 1930s while visiting this historic place full of art and jazz. The building itself is built in the functionalist architecture style and the its complex also includes a famous Manes Gallery and restaurant.
Description
Culinary dinner prepared by famous Czech chef Jaroslav Zahálka, taking place in a historical functionalist style hall decorated with paintings from cubistic painter Emil Filla and Prague’s best jazzmen´s, who will play jazz from the beginning of last century.
