Stop At: Barrier Lake, Highway 40 1 hour's drive east of Calgary, Alberta T0L 2H0 Canada

Journey back into time and learn to be a Voyageur. Experience portaging, paddling and lighting a no-match fire. Breath in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the 360-degree mountain view. While you explore watch for wildlife along the rugged shoreline.

Start your day at the Barrier Lake Day Use Area, where you will climb into our 25' voyageur canoe and paddle the breathtaking Barrier Lake. A leisurely paddle along the shore of this lake is the perfect addition to any visit to Kananaskis.

• We expect guests to be in good health for the tour, please take the COVID-19 self-assessment prior to the tour. In the case of yourself or someone in your group qualifying for self-isolation or COVID-19 testing, please notify our shop as soon as possible to arrange for a Raincheck and alternate tour date; no refunds will be given.
