Itinerary

Day 1: Outer City Trip: Mutianyu Great Wall, Summer Palace and Olympic Stadium

Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China
After the hotel pickup, you will be driven to the Mutianyu Great Wall through a beautiful countryside road, you will arrive earlier enough to avoid the crowds and queues to better enjoy the Wall. You will spend about 2 hours hiking on the Wall before gathering up for lunch.

You can choose to take a cable car round-trip, or chair - lift up and toboggan sliding down, it is highly recommended, so that you won't need to climb 30mins stairs before reaching the actual Great Wall.

Stop At: Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), No.19 Xinjian Gongmen Road, Haidian District, Beijing 100080 China
You will enjoy a nice view and a cooler summer in here. First you will see the Palace Area to find out how luxury life the Imperial Family had, and then have a walk through the longest Corridor with paintings in the world to get on an Imperial Ferry Boat in Kunming Lake to enjoy the stunning view of this massive Imperial Garden, which was a birthday gift from an emperor to his mother almost 300 years ago.

After that, you will be dropped off at your hotel at last.

Day 2: Inner City Trip: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Jingshan Park and Temple of Heaven

Stop At: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), West Changan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China
You will visit the Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. There are the Great Hall of People, Chairman Mao's Mausoleum and National Museum in the Square.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
You will be guided through this Imperial Residence for almost 600 years in the last two dynasties in China, to find out the histories flow between the archaic buildings, and to feel the massiveness of this wooden structural complex.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Jingshan Park (Jingshan Gongyuan), No.44 Jingshanxi Street, Xicheng District, Beijing 100009 China
After exit the Forbidden City, you can choose to climb the hill in Jingshan Park, to get to the top pavilion to over look the whole Forbidden City.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Temple of Heaven, Tiantan Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100050 China
This is the heaven worshipping place for almost 600 years during the last two dynasties in China.

You will see two most magnificent altars in there and have a nice walk through the Park Area to find out how local aged people spend their day there and look for a secret date matching spot in there.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Pearl Market (Hongqiao Market), 9 Tiantan Rd, Beijing China
Optional - After the tour, if you are interested in a souvenir shopping, this market is just outside the Temple of Heaven, it is a good place to look something to bring back home.
Duration: 1 hour
