Have a great ceramic making experience! Get the chance to express yourself through pottery in this 2-hour ceramic class - course. Come with your friends or with your kids and play with clay while learning the basic skills of ceramic art. Make your own ceramics under the directions of ceramic artist Dionysia Avouri, the owner of Adamieion Ceramic Art Studio. During the lesson you create a turtle and a bowl, with the style and decoration depending on your creativity and imagination! We fire your creations and you collect them after three (3) days or we send them to your home. The studio is located in a pleasant environment among olive trees and vineyards. Admire some of the oldest olive trees on the island, aged more than 1.000 years old! You, your friends and your kids are welcome to play and create with clay, away from the noisy tourist resorts. Description

Itinerary

First you visit the exhibition-shop to get an idea of Dionysia' s work.

Then you work with Dionysia for 2 hours to get familiar with clay and create your own unique ceramic memories from Zakynthos island. The standard project includes the creation of a turtle and a bowl. The shape, the style and the decoration of the turtle and the bowl depends on your imagination and creativity! Your ceramics will remain to dry under the sun and then I will glaze and fire them. They will be ready out from the kiln after three (3) days.

After the lesson you may have a walk in our farm and admire some of the oldest olive trees in Zakynthos.
