Our experience will begin by meeting in our workshop studio in a heritage building near the Galata Tower. You will have an introductory documentary about Turkish Marbling - Ebru in English and Chinese ( the other language-speakers can also easily understand).

After that, the practice of Turkish Marbling - Ebru will begin with the well known Turkish Marbling Artist Tüzin Tiryaki. The fundamental techniques and usage of traditional tools will be shown by the teacher. Each participant will start creating the first pieces on Ebru tray. Towards the end of the workshop, your first Ebru papers will dry. Meanwhile, we will bring you to our terrace for watching the 360-degree view of Istanbul; historical peninsula and Bosphorus. You will enjoy the scene with Turkish coffee and delights.

At the end of the workshop, you will be able to take your Ebru works with you, take as many photos and videos as you wish. And you will have a Certificate of Attendance to the Turkish Marbling Art Workshop.

Itinerary

Our experience will begin by meeting in our workshop studio in a century-old heritage building near the Galata Tower. You will have an introductory documentary about Turkish Marbling - Ebru in English and Chinese ( the other language-speakers can also easily understand).

Following the documentary video, the practice of Turkish Marbling - Ebru will begin with the well known Turkish Marbling - Ebru Artist Tüzin Tiryaki. The fundamental techniques and usage of traditional tools will be shown by the teacher. Each participant will start creating the first pieces on Ebru tray. Towards the end of the workshop, your first Ebru papers will dry. Meanwhile, we will bring you to our terrace/rooftop for watching the unique 360-degree view of Istanbul; historical peninsula and Bosphorus. You will enjoy the scene with Turkish coffee, Turkish delights, and delicious Turkish snacks.

At the end of the workshop, you will be able to take your Ebru works with you, take as many photos and videos as you wish. And you will have a Certificate of Attendance to the Turkish Marbling - Ebru Art Workshop.
