Motorized Hybrid Kayak Tour at Shell Key Preserve
We put a motor on a hybrid kayak and it's a blast to explore Florida waterways on it! This is the most relaxing kayaking experience, no need to struggle while paddling against the wind, just sit back and enjoy the view, the motor will help you stay on course.
Our motorized hybrid kayaks are wide and stable, even beginners will have a great time. All skill levels are welcome to join, we offer a lesson before each tour. Finally, a watersport that everyone can do!
Enjoy a one-of-a-kind paddling experience in the picturesque Shell Key Preserve where you can see crystal clear water and pristine beaches. On the tour we will complete a 2-mile loop around the preserve, stopping at the beach for a 20 minute break. Along the way we might see dolphins, manatees, different species of fish and birds that are native to the preserve, depending on the tide we will also go through a mangrove tunnel.
We typically cruise 4-6 mph but can paddle even faster if we want.

This is a seriously fun, unforgettable experience!
A reservation is required for everyone joining the tour. Ages 10+ are welcome, hybrid kayak weight capacity is 250lb.
Prepare to relax and enjoy this one of a kind hybrid kayak paddling experience. On the tour we will complete a 3-mile loop around the preserve, stopping at the beach for a 20 minute break. The beach is secluded, not crowded, with pristine crystal clear water. Along the way we might see dolphins, manatees, different species of fish and birds, we will also go through mangrove tunnels.

- 11'6" hard top Hybrid Kayak with a Deluxe Seat, Bixpy Jet, kayak paddle and life jacket with a whistle

- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Children (10-14) will be sitting on a separate paddle board without a motor. Child's paddle board will be towed behind the parent's board. Lifejacket must be worn by child at all times while on the water.
