Wine Tasting Experience with a Professional Sommelier in Valencia City Center
After more than 10 years of working in restaurants, I decided to take the next step and use my knowledge of wine in a more creative way. In February 2021 I left my hometown, Amsterdam, to host wine tastings here in Valencia.
I have developed myself by working in some of the best Michelin starred restaurants in Europe. Besides the practical work I got educated in the highest Dutch wine studies, “Vinologen” and in the highest level of the most well-known wine studies worldwide: WSET4.
What distinguishes a wine tasting with me from the rest? My personality and ability to treat people and give them an unforgettable evening. A unique location with a guaranteed feel-good atmosphere and ultimately an enormous repertoire of wine knowledge, so that you will hardly find a question that I cannot answer.
Description
Surround yourself with other wine lovers, local wines and great vibes! This tasting is on a private terrace in the city centre of Valencia. It includes an aperitif, 5 Spanish wines (3 white and 2 red) and various typical Spanish snacks. First, I’ll give a small introduction of myself and the world of wine, afterwards we’ll go into how to taste the wines 1 by 1, and bring out the snacks in the end. Of course, you can ask me all wine-related questions during the tasting!
