Itinerary
Day 1: Ait Ben Haddou- Ouarzazate - Agdz
Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
Ait Benhaddou, where we will stop for lunch. This UNESCO protected village has been featured in such films as Lawrence of Arabia, Jesus of Nazareth and The Gladiator. Morocco has long been a favorite of Hollywood and you will also have a chance to visit previous movie sets that are still standing.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Ouarzazate 45000, Morocco
Visit Kasbah Taorit and the film studios if you like.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Agdz, Agdz, Souss-Massa
Draa Valley and Agdz. This lush valley produces some of the best dates in all of Morocco. There are millions of date palms that are harvested between September and December. These high quality treats are available along side the road as well as in every shop. Have a walk in the oasis. This is where you will stay in a Moroccan Riad bed and breakfast, complete with tea service and full dinner.

Day 2: Zagora – Tamegroute - Mhamid – Oasis of Iriki – dunes of Erg Chigaga
Pass By: Zagora, Zagora, Souss-Massa
Once a starting point for the caravanes to Timbuctu.
Pass By: Tamegroute, Valle du Daraa, Zagora Morocco
We pass through Zagora and Tamegroute, famous for its craft pottery production, and reach M'Hamid, the desert outpost.
Stop At: M'Hamid, M'Hamid, Souss-Massa
The desert outpost; from here we travel off road into the desert to the big dunes of Erg Chigaga

Stop At: Erg Chigaga, M'Hamid El Ghizlane, M'Hamid Morocco
M'Hamid, we continue our journey into the desert. An adventurous journey through the Sahara by jeep awaits us. After covering 50 km of track, we reach the oasis of Iriki, where we have a stopp to drink a tea before continuing towards the dunes of Erg Chigaga

Day 3: Erg Chigaga
Stop At: Erg Chigaga, M'Hamid El Ghizlane, M'Hamid Morocco
Trekking day: The Erg Chigaga sunrise is certainly something you don’t want to miss, the golden light bounces across the dunes in a truly magnificent fashion. After breakfast our day with the dromedaries begins. Gliding through the dunes sitting atop a dromedary is a marvelous experience. After a few hours of trekking through the dunes you will arrive at a stand of Tamarind trees. Here in the shade our guides will cook a traditional nomadic lunch of kebabs and fresh bread. From here we pass back through the dunes towards camp where you can enjoy a peaceful sunset and enjoy a wonderful dinner and tea.

Day 4: Erg Chigaga - lac Iriqui - Fooum Zguid - Tazenakth - High Atlas - Marrakech
Stop At: Foum Zguid, Foum Zguid, Guelmim-Oued Noun
After breakfast, we continue on our journey by jeep along the old track of the Paris-Dakar rally, reaching the dried up salt lake of Iriki. We pass below the fossil mountain and finally leave the desert and arrive to Foum Zguid. Stopp for a fresh organge juice.

Stop At: Tazenakht, Tazenakht, Souss-Massa
Once back in the pavement we journey to Tazenakht. Here we will stop for lunch and have another golden opportunity to collect some of the rugs Morocco is world famous for. This region is known for producing the finest woven rugs.
Duration: 1 hour
Pass By: High Atlas Mountains, 40000 Morocco
Through the High Atlas mountains by way of the historic Tizi-n-Tichka pass. With an elevation of 2,260 meters the size and beauty of the mountains cannot be overstated. This pass is also dotted with ancient oak woods, walnut groves, traditional Berber villages and picturesque valley pastures complete with roaming free range goats and sheep.We reach Marrakech in the early evening.
