Day 1: Day 1 - Bucharest to Brasov: Peles Castle, Bran Castle & Brasov
Stop At: Peles Castle, Str. Pelesului 2, Sinaia 106100 Romania
The tour to Peles Castle and Brasov starts in Bucharest where your local guide will pick you up from your hotel. Next, you’ll leave the busy capital behind and head north towards the Carpathian Mountains. In approximately two hours you’ll arrive in Sinaia, a popular mountain resort and home to the beautiful Peles Castle.
You will visit the gardens of the Royal residence and take a standard your to visit the interior of the Peles Castle.

Your tour continues with a scenic drive through the mountains, along the famous Prahova Valley, reaching the Bran village, notorious for Bran Castle, also known as the Dracula Castle. Find out the history of the castle and the real story behind Dracula’s myth, attend to a guided tour of the Bran castle.

Then, go for Brașov where you will take a walking tour with your guide to see how a typical Transylvanian old city looks like.

Day 2: Day 2 - Brasov to Sighisoara: Viscri fortified church, Sighisoara walking tour
Stop At: Viscri, Viscri, Brasov County, Central Romania, Transylvania
On the way to Sighisoara, you will stop visiting Viscri Village one of the many Saxon Villages with a fortified church within Transylvania. Viscri is well known for its highly fortified church, originally built around 1100 AD, designated in 1993 as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Stop At: Sighisoara, Sighisoara, Mures County, Central Romania, Transylvania
The tour will continue to Sighișoara, the best-preserved medieval town in Romania. Like most of the cities of Transylvania, Sighișoara is also a city built by the Saxon colonists, but different from the others by the fact that it is the only currently inhabited citadel in Europe, and listed in the UNESCO World Heritage since 1999.
Have a guided tour of the citadel and then enjoy the evening on your own.

Day 3: Day 3 - Sighisoara to Sibiu: Biertan fortified church, Sibiu tour
Stop At: Biertan Fortified Church, Central Square, Biertan 557045 Romania
Visit one of the most important Saxon villages with fortified a church within Transylvania, Biertan is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1993.

Next you will head to Sibiu and take a walking tour of the old town. The old center has entered the competition for becoming a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.

Day 4: Day 4 - Sibiu to Bucharest: Drive across the Carpathian Mountains & return to Bucharest
Stop At: Transfagarasan Highway, Dn 7C Sibiu and Arges County, Curtea de Arges 115300 Romania
During the summer time (July-October) The road back to Bucharest will take you on the famous Transfagarasan Road. Along the way you will stop at several spots ideal for pictures and gorgeous scenery.

Stop At: Curtea de Arges Monastery, Bulevardul Basarabilor 1, Curtea de Arges 115300 Romania
During the summer time, when you will cross on the Transfagarasan Road, you will also visit Curtea de Arges Monastery. This is an architectural gem but also it represents the burial site for the Romanian Kings

Stop At: Cozia Monastery, Calea lui Traian 816, Caciulata 245601 Romania
From November to July Transfagarasan Road is not accessible, thus we will drive on the Olt river gorge. A stop will be at Cozia Monastery, a beautiful architectural stop with an important role in the Romanian history.
