Croatia’s second longest peninsula Peljesac is famous for its red wine based on Plavac Mali wine sort (cousin of Californian Zinfandel), delicious oysters and mussels growing in the brackish waters of Mali Ston bay, Ston city walls and its salt pans. Lays less than an hour drive from the city of Dubrovnik.
We are doing this tour for years and our guests absolutely adore our fisherman friend Mario, and unique experience of being alone in the bay at our fisherman's oyster beds and tasting best oysters in Mali Ston right from the sea.

This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Mali Ston, Mali Ston, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Dalmatia
Our group will be welcomed by local fisherman Mario and will ride in his boat through the picturesque calm Mali Ston Bay to Mario's oyster beds followed by oyster tasting on site (5 oysters per person accompanied with Mario's home made white wine). Group will learn about oyster farming and hear curiosities about people and customs of the area.

Stop At: Boljenovići Ponikve (Pelješac), 20230, Boljenovići, Croatia
Best place to try Plavac Mali - famous red wine variety of the area is Ponikve village. Ponikve valley is known for wine production from 13 ct. (Dubrovnik medieval aristocrats were often drinking delicious red wines from Ponikve). Tour will stop at a family own winery where guests will have the chance to meet winery owner and listen to the wine presentation followed by wine tasting (total of 5 wines and liqueurs)

Medieval town famous for its great city walls – second largest preserved fortification system in the world, its charming Gothic center and its salt pans – major money generator in medieval times (salt was very dear and in high demand in those days).
