Day 1: Colombo - Kandy

Stop At: Kandy Lake, Centre of Kandy City, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
Having arrived in Sri Lanka you will be greeted by your chauffeur guide at the airport itself. Take a leisurely drive to Kandy. Check-into your hotel and spend your time at leisure.

Day 2: Kandy - Kandy

Stop At: Embekka Devalaya, Embekka Pilimatalawa Road, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
After a tasteful breakfast, embark on a journey to three compelling temples in central highlands - Embekke; Lankathilaka and Gadaladeniya, sometimes referred to as the ‘three-temple loop’. This tour will be a memorable expedition for a heritage lover.

Day 3: Kandy - Sigiriya

Stop At: Nalanda Gedige, Matale 21152 Sri Lanka
Awake on your 3rd day and move to visit Nalanda gedige - a Fascinating Fusion of Buddhist and Hindu Architecture.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Oak Ray Handcrafted Wood Carvings, 9 Deveni Rajasinghe Mawatha. Gatembe, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
Thereon, you will move to get live wood carving experience at a small wood carving factory in the Village of Matale.

Stop At: Dambulla Cave Temple, Jaffna Hwy, Habarana 50150 Sri Lanka
Late afternoon visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temple - one of the most impressive and well-preserved cave temples in Asia. Walk through the caves will prove to be both insightful and a very memorable experience.

Day 4: Sigiriya - Sigiriya

Stop At: Polonnaruwa Sri Lanka
Following breakfast, you will move to explore the wondrous ruins and monuments of the ancient capital of Polonnaruwa.This is a well-preserved city with ancient dagobas, moonstones, beautiful parks, massive buildings and stunningly beautiful statues.

Stop At: Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress, Sigiriya 21120 Sri Lanka
Afternoon, explore a majestic 5th century fortress in the sky - Sigiriya a UNESCO world heritage site. Climb up 1200 steps all the way to the top where a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape awaits those who dare to make it.

Day 5: Sigiriya - Sigiriya

Stop At: Mahamevnawa Dhammachethiya Buddhist Monastery Anuradhapura, Watawandana Rd, Anuradhapura 50000 Sri Lanka
After a scrumptious breakfast, start your journey to Anuradhapura to discover the majestic ruins which are remarkably well-preserved in Sri Lanka’s first capital. Explore the extensive complex of monasteries, temples, buildings and bathing pools along with complex irrigation systems at that time.

Stop At: Mihintale, Anuradhapura Sri Lanka
On your way back to Sigiriya, stop at Minintale - which recorded as being the birthplace of Buddhism in Sri Lanka in 3rd century BC.

Day 6: Sigiriya - Negombo

Stop At: Yapahuwa Rock Fortress, Yapahuwa Sri Lanka
Enjoy breakfast and proceed to visit Yapahuwa - 4th Kingdom of Sri Lanka. This is an enormous yet little-visited rock fortress which housed the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha for 11 Years.

Stop At: Negombo Beach, Negombo Sri Lanka
Now having visited best of Sri Lanka’s unforgettable historical sites, you will be ready for a relaxing night in Negombo.
Duration: 15 minutes

Day 7: Negombo - Katunayake

Stop At: Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, Sri Lanka
