Stop At: Church São Pedro de Sintra, Largo do Adro da Igreja 6A, 2710-507 Sintra, Portugal

Medieval foundation church, but altered in the 16th century on the initiative of D. Álvaro de Castro (1565), it has a single nave covered by a 16th century coffered vault and covered on the side walls with magnificent blue and white tiles, from a Lisbon workshop from the first half of the 19th century. 18th century, depicting scenes from the life of St. Peter.

We will stop at one of the best known coffee shops in the world, the famous Piriquita, where you will have the chance to taste the sweets. With a unique regional flavor, you will also have the opportunity to have a drink and see the handicrafts created by local and world-renowned artisans.

Stop At: Castelo dos Mouros, Estrada da Pena Parque de Monserrate, Sintra 2710-609 Portugal

Isolated at the top, on one of the peaks of the Sintra mountain range, Castelo dos Mouros is a fortification founded in the 10th century, during the Muslim occupation of the Iberian Peninsula.

Its famous walls wind through the mountains with their granite blocks between boulders and cliffs.

Its round path offers a glimpse of a unique landscape over the village, Pena and, further away, the contrast between the green of the mountains and the blue of the Atlantic.

The National Palace of Pena is like a sacred jewel that crowns the Serra de Sintra. The surrounding park, in tune with the fairytale character of the palace, awakens emotions of mystery and discovery. In its nooks and crannies, eyes are lost in charm.

The Pena National Palace represents one of the best expressions of 19th century Romanticism in the world. Rising over a craggy rock, it is the second highest point in the Serra de Sintra
