Day 1: Elsen Tasarkhai, aka Bayangobi sand dunes
Stop At: Elsen Tasarkhai, Mongolia
In the early morning, we will depart from UB and drive to Elsen Tasarkhai (aka Bayangobi) and Khugnu Khan nature reserve where the gorgeous rocky mountain and mini version of sand dunes are. Upon arrival, we will visit to a camel breeder family which is a great way to learn more about nomadic lifestyle and people of Mongolia. In the afternoon, we visit the Erdene Khamba Khiid Buddhist surviving temple from the Great Repression in the 1930s in Hogno Khaan Nature Reserve Park –a good place for trekking/hiking and gives you a great view of surroundings.

Khugnu Tarna national park is a beautiful landscape which has important cultural and ecological impacts.

We will visit a real nomad family in the area and spend the rest of the day with them to learn more about Mongolian nomadic lifestyle and take part in their daily activities, including tending to the livestock, and making Mongolian dairy products and meal

Day 2: Ancient capital Karakorum
Stop At: Erdene Zuu Monastery, Kharkhorin 62090 Mongolia
Breakfast and we drive to ancient capital the Karakorum. We visit legendary monastery Erdene Zuu, the first Buddhist monastery in Central Mongolia founded in 1586, and its surroundings.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Museum of Karakorum which gives a good introduction to Central Mongolia, its’ history and the UNESCO world heritage site Orkhon river valley.

We will visit the newly established calligraphy center, Erdenesiin Khuree. If you want to take part in the workshop and learn how to write your name is calligraphy, you can pay on spot for the fee.

Explore the breathtaking UNESCO world heritage site Orkhon river valley.

Day 3: Hustai National Park
Stop At: Hustai National Park, Ulaanbaatar 13 Mongolia
After breakfast, we will drive to Hustai National park- where the Takhi wild horses graze peacefully with other wild animals. Arrive there by before afternoon. We will watch a short documentary about the national park, and then we head into the national park to spot the wild horse known as Takhi, birds and other wildlife. Overnight at the ger camp.

Stop At: Khustain Nuruu National Park, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
Visit the ancient historic site of Ungut monument complex which displays 6-8th century AD man stones and tombs.

Day 4: Ulaanbaatar city
Stop At: City center, WW9C+7HJ, Ulaanbaatar 14200, Mongolia
This morning we drive back to Ulaanbaatar for 2 hours and you will be dropped off at your accommodation. End of service
