Royal Enfield Motor Bike Tour is a thrilling bike ride to Lower Mustang Muktinath. This tour is filled with views of beautiful hills, mountains, and rivers along the ride. You’ll also get to enjoy the views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges from Muktinath. Likewise, the culture and traditions of the Thakali ethnic people are equally immersing as well.

Firstly, you ride east from Kathmandu towards Pokhara via the Prithvi Highway. You ride past Malekhu and head along Trishuli River to reach Pokhara. The next day, you leave Pokhara and head to Ghasa via the deepest gorge in the world- the Kali Gandaki Gorge. Further, you head to Kagbeni riding through Jomsom. In addition, you explore Marpha village and observe the lifestyle of the Thakali people. The next day, you ride to Muktinath and visit the temple. You can bath under the 108 water sprouts which are said to wash off the sins of our life.

Itinerary

Day 1: Ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara 200 Km 6-7 Hours.

Pass By: Pokhara Lakeside, Lakeside Rd, Pokhara 33700 Nepal
The first day of our “Into the Mountains” two-wheeler trip begins with a short ride that involves busy traffic on the process to exit out of Kathmandu Valley. Once, the ride leaves behind the valley, riders get to experience the different side of Nepal, which is amazing. Beginning to slide down on the extremely twisted Prithvi Highway from Khanikhola we arrive at Naubise.

Cross past the cable car station at Kurintar to arrive at the most popular highway junction, Mugling. We drive west and ride over the bridge at the confluence of Trishuli and Marsyangdi Rivers. As we approach closer to Pokhara, the Himalayan peaks dominated by Annapurna and unique Fishtail come into the loop of our eyes. On arriving at Pokhara, we straightaway ride to our hotel in Lakeside. Enjoy your dinner and stroll around the tourist zone in Pokhara.

Day 2: Ride from Pokhara to Ghasa 119 Km 6- 7 Hours.

Pass By: Tatopani Hot Spring, Tatopani 33200 Nepal
The second day of the ride is adventurous enough as we hit the narrow mountainous Highway from Pokhara towards the small town Beni, tucked at the confluence of Kaligandaki River. The ride is full of natural wonders. Raging Mardi River that flows right below the road always warns riders to be extra careful. The lush vegetation and cascading waterfalls throughout please your eyes. Beyond Beni, the ride goes along the challenging rugged mountainous terrain.

It also caters to the magnificence of the Himalayas dominated by Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Fishtail from the section of the ride that begins at a famous stopover point Tatopani. After a short break, the ride resumes along the rugged highland trail and cross passes Dana to reach Ghasa the place to overnight for the day.

Day 3: Ride from Ghasa to Kagbeni 60 Km 4-5 Hours.

Pass By: Kagbeni, Kagbeni, Dhaulagiri Zone, Western Region
After an exhausting riding day the day before, a short riding day around the Himalayan villages shall be justified well. This day can be utilized wisely so that you can sight the best of the cultural and natural highlights of the region. Then our journey towards Jomsom begins. It is a short ride catering to the magnificence of Himalayan panorama blended so well with the culture of the region.

At Jomsom, we just explore around. Then we set off for a short 28 km two-way ride from Jomsom to Kagbeni. The ride most of the time chases the flat and wide but mishmash mountain trail all the way to beautiful Tibetan hamlet Kagbeni. Kagbeni is the gateway to the famous forbidden kingdom of Mustang as well as the vantage point to savor the Himalayan magnificence and enjoy cultural contrast.

Day 4: Ride from Kagbeni to Muktinath 10 Km 1-2 Hours.

Pass By: Muktinath Temple, Mustang, Muktinath 33100 Nepal
An hour-long ride along the mishmash mountain road brings us to the revered shrine Muktinath. Nestling right below the towering Himalayan giants, the temple is equally holy for multi-religions. Buddhists, Hindus, Jains, and Bons visit the shrine with equal devotion.

In Muktinath Temple, besides offering your prayers you also can savor the magnificence of Himalayan peaks including Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri sprawling right before your eyes. The cultural aspects are surely other delightful highlights at the site.

Day 5: Ride from Muktinath to Tatopani 90 Km 7-8 Hours.

Pass By: Tatopani Hot Spring, Tatopani 33200 Nepal
Along the retracing road, we ride back to Tatopani. The ride goes downhill towards Tatopani. En-route we halt to savor the view of Rupche Fall, which comes after Ghasa, which is a major stopover point of the region.

Admire the beauty of the fall and resume the ride along the mishmash highland road all the way to Tatopani. The name of the village refers to hot natural springs, so you can let go all the riding exhaustion bathing in the natural hot springs to make your body relax.

Day 6: Ride from Tatopani to Pokhara 98 Km 4-5 Hours.

Pass By: Pokhara, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
Today is not a very long way and only a few roads are off-road so morning also you can exhaustion natural bathing on hot spring. After around 100km drive which takes about 4-5 hours on the retracing trail, we arrive at Pokhara via Beni riding along Baglung Pokhara Highway. Evening you can walk around the Fewa lake.

Day 7: Sightseeing around Pokhara Valley.

Early morning, we will drive to the Sarangkot viewpoint for a great sunrise view over the Annapurna mountain range. Then we will drive back to the hotel and have breakfast. After breakfast, we will go sightseeing around Pokhara that includes the Seti river gorge, Devi’s fall, and Gupteshowar Mahadev temple.

Afternoon you can do boating in fewa lake and visit the Tal Barahai temple (Island Temple) In the evening we go to peace pagoda for Sunset view where you can see the great view of Annapurna ranges, Pokhara valley & Fewa lake.

Day 8: Ride from Pokhara to Kathmandu 200 Km 6-7 Hours.

Pass By: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
The final day of “Into the Mountains” takes numerous twists and turns on the Prithvi Highway that stretches right above rushing Himalayan Rivers most of the time all the way to the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu. Rural culture, river landscapes blended with forested land are the major highlights of last day ride.

In the evening we will have dinner in a Nepalese Restaurant along with the cultural dance program.
