Visit the hideout of paratroopers from Anthropoid operation, explore the streets of New Town and Jewish Quarter all while learning about the most important events from Czechoslovak’s WW2 and Cold War history.

1. Only a group of 8 people max. can join the tour. More than 8 people need to book our private tour.
2. This is a tip-based tour. 3 EUR fee is for reserving your spot on the tour.
3. The group size is usually anything between 10 - 30 people. To keep the quality high, our group size does not exceed 30 people.
4. We are a team of mostly Czech locals and certified guides with many years of experience. You are not joining some large international company, you are joining a team of local enthusiasts who will do everything in their power to help you remember your stay in Prague.

This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Klárov, 118 00 Praha 1-Malá Strana, Czechia

This is where our tour starts. There are two important monuments in Klarov. Memorial to the Second Resistance and Winged Lion Memorial.

We will tell you how Czechoslovakia gained its independence in the First World War, why it was one of the first countries Hitler occupied and what happened to Czechoslovak soldiers during the WW2.

Stop At: Pinkas Synagogue, Jewish Museum in Prague, U stareho hrbitova 243/3a 110 00, Prague 110 00 Czech Republic

You will learn the fate of Czech Jewish people, how many of them managed to emigrate and what happened to those who didn't.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Staromestske namesti, StaromEstske nam. Stare Mesto, Prague 110 00 Czech Republic

Here, next to the Old Town Hall we will tell the story of the Prague Uprising and explain how the end of WW2 set the stage for the rise of Communism in Czechoslovakia.

What happened after communism started in Czechoslovakia? Why did Warsaw Pact armies invade Czechoslovakia in 1968? And where was the place of Jan Palach's self-immolation?

Here you will see the Rotating Head of Kafka, we will talk about art during Communism.

Stop At: Hands reaching out of the wall on Narodni Trida, Narodni Street, Prague Czech Republic

You will learn here about the Velvet Revolution and the fall of communism.

Stop At: National Theater, Narodni 223/2, Prague 110 00 Czech Republic

We'll introduce to you Vaclav Havel, the first president of Czechoslovakia after the fall of communism and will explain his role during the Velvet Revolution

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Dancing House, Jiraskovo namEsti 6, Prague 12000 Czech Republic

We'll show you the Dancing House and the the story of Valentine's Day bombing.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: St Cyril and St Methodius Cathedral, Resslova 9, Prague Czech Republic

We will finish the tour with the story of the most important achievement of Czechoslovak resistance during WW2. Operation Anthropoid.
