One of the best ways to embrace the Italian culture is by taking a cooking class! An authentic culinary experience in Italy cannot be complete without diving into its wine culture as well.
Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and learn how to cook the way Tuscan grandmas and moms do. You will prepare appetizers, first and second courses and dessert, using only fresh ingredients and 0 km products. The recipes are chosen by the chef according to the seasonality of the produce. You will learn how to cut, braise, boil, cook and roast a complete Tuscan meal.
In no time, you will be able to easily recreate Italian traditional dishes at home and brag about your newfound skills. After this hands-on cooking lesson, you will sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labour, paired with the estate’s signature wines.
Description
Private cooking class at a boutique winery on the hills of Panzano in Chianti. You will get immersed into the Italian art of cooking and into exquisite wines, which are renowned for their high quality and organic viticulture employed in their production. You will visit the entire property, tour the vineyards and wine cellars and understand the production process of Chianti wines.
During the class, you will learn valuable tips and tricks about the Italian cuisine and how to get your way around an Italian kitchen, overlooking the vines of the estate.
An expert local chef will teach you how to cook a complete menu, from appetizers to dessert, using only the freshest seasonal ingredients, most of which come from the Panzano area!
At the end of the cooking class, your work will be awarded with a feast of your own creations and enjoy the authenticity of your dishes. Your meals will be paired with Brunello di Montalcino wines, produced by the estate hosting your cooking class. Your meals will be paired with the estate's most praised and notable Chianti wines. In addition, you will taste extra virgin olive oil, as it represents yet another appreciated product produced by the winery.
