Day 1: BUCHAREST – SINAIA - BRASOV

In the morning meet with our guide in yours location from Bucharest.

Stop At: Peles Castle, Str. Pelesului 2, Sinaia 106100 Romania
Leave the city on the route to Sinaia. Visit the Peles Castle, former summer residence of the kings of Romania, the Peles Castle is 44 kilometers far from Brasov, in Sinaia, a well-known mountain resort as well. Nowadays the Castle is one of the most important museums in Transylvania where one can admire furniture and ornamental objects, carpets, tapestry, sculptures, paintings, collections of weapons from the 15th up to the19th centuries.

We’ll spend the afternoon in Brasov with a visit to the medieval center of Brasov, The main sites are: Council Square, Black Church, White and Black Towers, Weaver’s Bastion and Ekaterina's Gate, St Nicholas Church, The Rope’s street, etc.

A small and un unique museum. Include an amazing collection of old books and documents, a 16th century printing workshop and a classroom dated in 19th century.

Day 2: BRASOV – VISCRI – RUPEA – BIERTAN - SIGHISOARA – BRASOV
Stop At: Viscri Fortified Church, Viscri 507039 Romania
In the morning we’ll drive to one of the most charming Transylvanian villages – Viscri. The village preserve the authentic architecture of the houses, old way of life, traditions and crafts. It is considered a great sample of the Saxon / German Heritage of Transylvania. Enjoy a walk through the village and visit the Viscri Fortified church.

We’ll continue to Rupea fortress (13th century), an impressive citadel with three concentric fortified walls and 3 interior precincts.

Stop At: Biertan Fortified Church, Central Square, Biertan 557045 Romania
Biertan village it was one of the most important trade centers in the region and the headquarters of the Evangelical Bishops for about 300 years. We’ll visit Biertan fortified church dating from the 16th century, built in late gothic style. From the top we can admire the views over the old village and peaceful surrounding area.

We’ll spend the afternoon in Sighisoara and we’ll visit the medieval town. It is a UNESCO site, with origins in 12th century which preserve very well the medieval buildings. Highlights: Clock Tower, Church on the Hill, Dracula’s birthplace, Church of he monastery, Fortified Wall and Towers.

The landmark of Sighisoara. It is the biggest tower, part of the medieval fortification system. Nowadays host the history museum.

An amazing church dating since 14th century. It preserves old Renaissance frescoes, a cript and unique altars.

Day 3: BRASOV – PREJMER - BRAN – BUCHAREST
Stop At: Peasant Fortified Church at Prejmer, East side of the Brasov Depression, Prejmer 507165 Romania
First stop at Prejmer fortified church (UNESCO), dating since 13th century and a unique sample of religious and defensive structure. It is the biggest and the most famous Saxon (German) fortified church from Transylvania.

Stop At: Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle), Str. General Traian Mosoiu nr. 24, Bran 507025 Romania
Continue your journey to Bran with it’s famous Bran castle. Also called Dracula`s Castle, it got its fame from Dracula`s legend written in 1897 by Bram Stoker and later on made into a film by Francis Ford Coppola.. The first documents about Bran Castle appeared in 1377. Along the history, the Castle had a strategic mission being the border between Transylvania and Wallachia.

After the Bran Castle visit you can spend some time for souvenires shooping and than leave Transylvania and go back to Bucharest., where we’ll arrive in the afternoon (4.00-5.00 PM).
