Day 1: Moshi Town to Lake Manyara National Park

Stop At: Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Arusha Region
After breakfast, you are met by our tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari briefing. You will be driving to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive with our picnic lunch. Upon your arrival Manyara you will be welcomed by the Great Rift Valley Escarpment view and fun makers’ baboon at the entrance of Manyara in large groups. We will travel through the agricultural and fresh produce market town of Mto Wa Mbu, which is situated next to the entrance of the Lake Manyara National Park.

The town is a souvenir hunters paradise, harbouring thousands of souvenir salesmen – ready to pounce at your slightest invitation. The Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located African wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals; including one of Africa’s densely populated of the herd of an African elephant, famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake.

We will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and do two exciting morning and afternoon game drives, in search of the wildlife and birdlife that Manyara host along with a view of famous hot spring known as “Maji Moto”. Late afternoon you will be transferred to Campsite for hot shower, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
Early in the morning after your breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your driver-guide for safari briefing. He will give you an overview of the safari before starting driving to Ngorongoro Conservation Area where Ngorongoro crater is located at. Ngorongoro crater is contiguous to Lake Manyara National Park and it needs about an hour or two to reach there. You will have all the formalities of the authority before descending to the crater floor with your picnic lunch. Ngorongoro crater is famous for its different attraction which includes alkaline lakes, forest, and different vegetation, hot springs, different kinds of wildlife and birdlife and its landscape. Among the common wildlife in the crater includes; lion, leopard, zebra, elephant, African buffalo, warthog, hyena, wild dogs, the rare black rhino, wildebeest and varieties of migratory and resident birdlife whereby more than 350 different species have been recorded.

You will both have memorable morning game drive and full afternoon game drive before ascending to the crater rim for transfer to the lodge for a hot shower, dinner and overnight at Campsite.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Stop At: Tarangire National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha Region
After breakfast, you are met by our tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari briefing. After the briefing, you will be transferred to Tarangire National Park with your picnic lunch. Tarangire derived its name from the Tarangire River which crosses along the centre of the park and which provide permanent water for the wildlife and birdlife of the park around the year. It is here where a large group of different species of animal concentrate during the dry season and the best place to take many pictures.

Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Also, it is in Tarangire by chance you can see the tree climbing African pythons.

Tarangire National Park accommodated migratory and resident birdlife and believed to be a paradise of birdwatchers as more than 350 different species have been recorded to date. Other wildlife that Tarangire accommodates includes the rare Oryx, impala, giraffe, zebra, lion, leopard and different types of gazelles.
Later in the early evening, we will be driving back to Arusha or Moshi for Dinner and overnight.
